The course incorporates instruction in chemistry library research and resources, Microsoft Word and Excel, graphing, laboratory safety, writing formal lab reports, scientific writing skills and oral presentation skills. In addition, the course also incorporates discussions and demonstrations of cognitive processing in the context of necessary and appropriate study skills, note taking and reading scientific texts.
