Prerequisites: CWE099Students planning to take cooperative work education (Co-op) for their bachelor's degree must first take a preparatory workshop to prepare for the Co-op program. The prerequisite workshop must be taken after completion of 90 credits for the bachelor's degree program. All cooperative work experiences are optional. The supervised work experiences provide students with the opportunity to observe and participate in actual organizational processes in their area of special interest. A comprehensive work report is required of all students. To participate in Co-op, students must consult with their Program Advisor. Students must typicallyholda20 GPA to participate. Students who fall below the required GPA must obtain a waiver.
