Nutritional requirements in health promotion, health protection, and prevention of disease are studied in depth. Emphasis is placed on the development of communication and critical thinking skills while focusing on nursing interview, history, and assessment. Laboratory and/or field experience are required to apply fundamental nursing interventions. Two hours classroom and five hours lab per week.
