Designed to evaluate the job performance and proficiency of social relations students in an actual job situation (paid or unpaid). The evaluation is carried out by an instructor in social relations in conjunction with personnel at the internship agency. Work may be in social agencies, prisons, rehabilitation centers, drug abuse centers, community action organizations, etc. The course may also be used to provide student credit for participation in ongoing research projects sponsored by the instructor, depending on the interest of the student and facilities available.

Study Abroad Program - this course is a full time place holder for students who Study Abroad - This course may be repeatable. It carries full time and upper level status. The Program is approved by the department and the Dean prior to departure. Details of the specific program will be housed in the Student's Department. This course covers physicial phenomena, energy and energy changes, periodicity, chemical compounds and behaviors, mole and mole concepts, chemical reactions and reactions types, light and light properties, bonding, and bonding types, molecular geometry, and gases. Prerequisite: One year of HS Chemistry. (Natural Science General Education Course).

This course covers the basic principles of chemistry, including modern atomic structure and bonding, chemical equations, solubility and descriptive inorganic chemistry. Pre-Requisite: One year of HS Chemistry or equivalent. (Natural Science General Education Course). OR The distance Learning version of SCH111 General Chemistry I to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside the classroom. Pre-Requisite: One year of HS Chemistry or equivalent).

A continuation of SCH-111, this course covers in-depth treatment of gases, solids, and solution chemistry. Colligative properties of solution chemical kinetics, chemical equilibriums, principles of acids and bases, nuclear chemistry and electro-chemistry. Pre-Requisite: SCH 111 (Chemistry & Biology majors must earn "C" or higher). OR The distance Learning version of SCH112 General Chemistry II to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside the classroom. Pre-Requisite: SCH111 (Chemistry & Biology majors must earn "C" or higher).
