An advanced laboratory course for junior and senior science majors who wish to gain theoretical and practical experience with the techniques and equipment commonly used in the fields of cellular biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. Topics include PCR, electrophoresis, enzyme kinetics, aseptic cell and tissue culture, cell surafce receptors, and molecular modeling. Five-hour laboratory with one-hour pre-lab lecture each week.
