This course correlates all major radiation therapy subject areas in preparation for students to take the national certification examination through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Various topics are addressed. Review assignments and practice examinations are given and students work in teams to develop simulated examination questions based on the current ARRT content specifications.

In this course, dual enrollment eleventh and twelfth-grade students develop the learning strategies, college knowledge and career exploration skills necessary for success in higher education and beyond. It focuses on safely and correctly using hand tools, rotary machines, power shears and roll-forming machines. The course emphasizes the practical application of sheet metal layout fundamentals in lab-based fabrication scenarios, preparing students for industry-standard operations.

In this course, students use drafting principles tailored to the sheet metal industry. The course emphasizes using drafting tools, mastering line types and weights and the art of dimensioning. Learning is deepened through extensive application in orthographic projections and shop sketches. Students demonstrate proficiency in critical drawing techniques fundamental to the field.

Building on the foundation from SHM 103, this course challenges students with more complex projects, enhancing precision and design aesthetics in metalwork. Students progress to intermediate sheet metal techniques, emphasizing triangulation, radial line development and seaming.
