MAT 110: Math of Games & Gambling
1.00 Credits
The College of Saint Rose
The course should enable the student to approach gaming and gambling in an informed and realistic manner by covering the mathematics involved in some casino games like Craps, Roulette, Poker, and Black Jack and other games like LOTTO, QUICK DRAW, Chuck-A-Luck, and horse race betting. It is unrealistic to claim that this course will directly improve one's ability to play games or gamble, although it is hoped the insights provided into rational analysis and play will have some benefit in that direction.
