CED 421: Integrated Mathematics and Science Childhood Education

This course is designed to examine the current mathematics standards (NCTM), current science standards (NTSA), and the elementary school curriculum. Hands-on experience is emphasized. Integration of mathematics and science with other curriculum areas is introduced. This course includes 15 hours of fields experience. Prerequisites: CED 303 and ED 402, passing score on LAST, overall index of 2.75, and education index of 3.0. 3 credits. Offered as needed.
