Working through the Neuroscience Major Advisory Committee, the student poses a question of significance in neuroscience, devises an experimental protocol, and collects data to evaluate the question. Projects may be performed either on campus or at other locations. Presentation of the research is required. Variable credit.

GER: MB (Mind and Body) and WC (World Cultures) Prerequisite: PHL-101 Survey of "Wholeness Concepts" which promote lifetime fitness and healthy lifestyle habits. Topics include: the philosophical and corporeal cultural traditions of South Asia, East Asia, and Northeast Asia. Introduction to the martial art of Aikido as well as additional disciplines (including meditation) that promote the experience mind and body unification. 4 credits.

Comparative (East/West) analyses are explored. Satisfies the pre-fall 2008 asian-african requirement and may satisfy the pre-fall 2008 general education requirement in upper-level humanities. 4 credits.
