Students will prepare a portfolio, write a comprehensive capstone document (analyses of all pieces on recital), prepare program notes, prepare language translations (where appropriate), and pass a Recital Hearing by the faculty. Students performing Capstone Recital within three weeks of the end-of-semester jury will be exempt from performing the jury, except that they will must perform their independently prepared piece for the jury. Prerequisite: permission of department chair. Credit: 4 semester hours.
