Prerequisite: Permission of instructor Emphasizes a team-based approach to producing a play. Class members form a production company in which each contributes to the success of the production by fulfilling responsibility in several aspects which include stage management, acting, lighting, sound, costuming, props management, set design and construction, publicity, and house management. Instruction in theater terminology, elements and practice is delivered within the context of preparing a show for public performances. CODR 229 and 329 offered concurrently: appropriate course level is based on the student's experience level and is selected in consultation with the instructor. Number of credits is determined by the instructor based upon the extent of the student's degree of involvement in a production. May be repeated for credit with permission of the instructor. Spring semester.
