The student will define the problem and come up with a web-based solution utilizing software skills to include DB2 UDB programming and Stored Procedures, Web Programming, Enterprise Application Development, Java and XML. Independent study courses are offered either by appointment or online, meaning that students choose their own consistent weekly class times. Students must contact the instructor as soon as they enroll to make an appointment for an orientation session. During this orientation time, the instructor will go over the syllabus, decide with the student the best time for him/her to work on the class, and explain the policies and procedures of independent study.
