The student will use digital palettes, tools and a variety of techniques to create images and then modify their size, appearance and resolution. The student will develop typical web images including buttons, rollovers and animations. The student will apply techniques to optimize web images so they maintain detail during file compression. Before enrolling in this course, the student must be competent in basic computer skills.

The student will create web sites using templates or design wizards to add tables, frames, forms and graphics to Web pages; additionally, the student will learn to integrate today's modern web standard technologies such as CSS, XML, XSLT and ASP.NET in creating and publishing complete web sites. The student will learn how an enterprise can plan, design, produce, promote and maintain a business site. Before enrolling in this course, the student should be competent in basic computer operation.
