This course investigates the seven Rs of business logistics: the right product, in the right quantity, in the right condition, at theright place, at the right time, for the right customer, and at the right cost.Topics include the theories, concepts, analytical techniques, managerial information practices, economic characteristics, and business environment of logistics in relation to the need to manage physical resources and services to accomplish a strategic goal. Private and public sectors are explored and their differences investigated. Prerequisite: An appropriate Mathematics Placement test result or MA045 Basic Math Skills or MA050 Introductory Mathematics.

Prerequisites:AC115 Financial Accounting and BM115 Principles of Macroeconomics.

It covers the basic concepts, principles, terminology, and laws regarding the study of insurance as practiced in NewYork State.Topics include fire insurance, rate-making, indirect business losses, inland and ocean marine coverages, and theft protection as well as various types of multiline policies. It covers personal applications of insurance as well as initial preparation for NewYork State Licensing exams in General Insurance.

This course explores the major forms of casualty insurancethrough policy and statute analysis. It covers basic insurance concepts along with general liability insurance, automobile coverages, workers compensation, bonding, and NewYork State insurance law. In conjunction with BM240 Property Damage Insurance, this course is required before completing the general agents or brokers exam in NewYork State. Prerequisite: BM240 Property Damage Insurance.
