Facilitating Effective Meetings is organized into four parts covering why organizations have meetings, preparing for meetings, conducting meetings, and evaluating meetings. Specifically, the course examines methods to identify and eliminate time wasters, discusses the benefits of advance meeting preparation, develops the skills to determine whether a meeting is necessary and who should participate, reviews effective ways to open, run, and close a meeting, develops skills to create and manage a successful meeting environment, and explains ways to monitor action created in meetings and evaluate meeting success.
