These are compared to traditional methods and will compare the impact of energy and environmental. As part of the energy impact both the initial and ongoing costs are reviewed. The various trade groups and their platforms are reviewed and discussed in relation to economically justifiable approaches. Finally the impact of new verses remodeled/renovated construction is evaluated.

Course content is consistent with principles and standards as determined by the Portland Cement Association (PCA), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM).
