Ivy Tech Community College
In order to understand and fully appreciate contemporary poetry, it is essential to identify how the art form has developed, linguistically and thematically, over time. Richardson, Indiana¿s first unofficial poet laureate. It continues to the confessional work of seminal African American poet Etheridge Knight to the Reservoir Dogwoods¿ own work dealing with life in postmodern Indiana.
