As the sessions progress, students are encouraged to try a variety of art mediums. Individual skills are assessed first session to provide instructions at each student¿s own level. The word calligraphy means beautiful writing, and before the invention of the printing press, it was the way books were written. Join this class and learn how to put your own personal touch in your writing for special projects, greetings or gift cards. All supplies, which you will take home, will be provided, including pens, ink, paper, and written instructions.

This introduction to drawing course is designed to develop each student's ability in the basics of drawing. The acquisition of visual perception skills and the application of the art principles to the art elements will be emphasized. The course will cover instruction in five main areas of art production: To teach students the basics of drawing a frontal view portrait. To teach students the basics of drawing the human figure. To teach students the basics of atmospheric perspective for drawing nature and landscapes. To teach students the basics of linear perspective for drawing architectural structures. To teach students the basics of elliptical perspective for drawing still life arrangements.

This class teaches adults who are interested in drawing but not sure how to begin. Students will gain a solid foundation and understanding of the basics of drawing using pencil, kneaded erasers and blending stumps.

The Defensive Driving Cource (DDC) Alive at 25 specifically targets drivers between the ages of 16 and 24--the group of drivers most likely to be involved in fatal collisions. This highly effective program encourages young drivers to take responsibility for their driving behavior. Information is presented in a non-lecture, interactive format featuring two video presentations, Real Streets and Real People. Indiana Driver License holders who successfully complete this course are granted a 4 point credit by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Learn to drive in a program approved by the Indiana Department of Education. You will spend 30 hours in the classroom, 6 hours in driving observation, and 6 hours in individual, behind-the-wheel driving instruction. The driving experience will cover routes carefully chosen to represent all phases of driving. Students must be 15 years and 180 days before the start of class.

This class assumes Power Point knowledge enough to create a presentation as an outcome of the class. Participants identify their dream job through the aid of a career assessment. Then they document the steps to reach this dream job through an interactive, vibrant, and graphically enhanced Power Point presentation that requires career research, goal setting, and use of labor market information.
