Premarital Interpersonal Choices & Knowledge (P.I.C.K) allows singles to learn aspects about themselves and what they are looking for in a partner, so they can learn How To Avoid Marrying a Jerk(ette)TM. At one time or another, we have heard the old quote, ¿love is blind.¿ It might have been at the miserably mismatched wedding; or, when your best friend forgave a partner the hundredth time for the same crime; or, when a recently divorced person finally could see the red flags of their ex-partner from the dating years. The accumulation of experiences leads everyone to wonder if anyone could ever follow their heart without losing their mind. P.I.C.K. a Partner provides singles and singles-again an easy-to-use plan which portrays the balance between getting to really know the person you are dating while keeping a healthy balance in the connections of your growing relationship.

In just a half-day, DDC-4 offers practical strategies to reduce collision related injuries, fatalities and costs. The biology of DNA and some basic principles of genetics are the focus of this class. From hands-on activities, you learn how to extract DNA from wheat germ and perform gel electrophoresis, the technique used to visualize DNA in the laboratory for purposes such as DNA fingerprinting. How your genes influence your traits and those of your children and grandchildren is also discussed. Please bring pencil or pen for taking notes and wear close-toed shoes (no sandals).
