Step back in time at Pioneer Village in Spring Mill State Park for this unique experience. During the afternoon participants will be actively involved in learning techniques for cooking over an open fire and be able to sit at a table together to enjoy the dinner they have prepared. Pioneer recipes and cookbook will be provided. This session will include a one-hour guided stroll through Pioneer Village made up of the Gristmill, homes, gardens and shops.

Pysanky is the ancient Easter European art of egg decorating, of which the Ukranian version is arguably most famous. The name comes from the verb to write, as you use a stylus (calle kistka) to write with wax in the egg shell. Learn the history of pysanky and design and create your own egg art in one evening.
