Most State drinking water and water pollution control agencies require courses to improve operators¿ skills and knowledge. Four course program includes: WATER TREATMENT I; WATER TREATMENT II, WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS; WATER ANALYSIS and Pumps, Maintenance and Safety . The goal of this training is to provide contractors the practical skills necessary to apply advanced weatherization and energy conservation techniques on a variety of homes. It is also a resource to address questions and problems faced in the field every day.

This course is designed as an introduction for the entry level welder and the Engineer needing an understanding of an array of welding processes. This course will provide an overview of oxy-fuel, shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, plasma arc, resistance, flash and upset, friction, electron beam and laser welding processes. The course includes a general understanding of equipment, electrodes, fuel gases and/or shielding gases, advantages and limitations of the processes, process applications, process variables and operational costs. Industry or production specific requests can be accommodated to fully integrate the course outcomes to meet your strategic needs. Additional course objectives in various welding processes are available.

This welding certification course allows highly experienced welders the option to quickly achieve a specific certification issued by the AWS (American Welding Society) in the processes of MIG, TIG, or Stick. Students are required to bring all personal safety equipment: Welders hood, safety glasses, leather gloves, welder¿s jacket or sleeves, leather work boots/shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirt.

This course is designed to be a preparatory class for individuals with little or no experience with welding. 100 hours of hands-on lab experience is complemented with 28 hours of classroom instruction in basic industrial math and blueprint reading. Upon completing this course students will have the opportunity to earn AWS D1.1 certifications which will provide them with the credentials to help them obtain gainful employment in the welding industry. The course will focus on Arc and MIG procedures for the novice students. Those with some welding experience will be assessed by the instructor to determine whether they are eligible for training in TIG procedure.

Learn the essentials of welding in this 8 week course with veteran instructor Mark Scranton. Once you have the basics you¿ll work on a personal project that reflects your area of interest. This course is designed to teach a broad range of topics for various welding processes with an emphasis on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) advanced topics. The participant will also learn practical welding and cutting techniques with Oxy-fuels. Topical areas of study include safety, blueprint and welding symbols, welding joints, welding defects, metal identification and properties, welding procedure specifications, and finallly welding careers and necessary qualifications.
