This course introduces students to the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy entrance requirements as established by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Board. During the course, students will be guided through the process of completing the required testing for police academy admission. This includes a psychological written test and interview, medical exam, drug screen/hearing test, criminal history check, and physical fitness assessment. Failure of any stage will result in denial of admission to the law enforcement academy. Regular class sessions will focus on the fitness preparation and testing necessary to meet the fitness entrance requirements as established by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Board.
