Law brokerage-principles and practices I. A basic survey of the real estate business, instruments agency, financing, valuation and listing, contracts license law, fair housing, closing, land use regulations and mathematics. Law brokerage-principles and practices II. A basic survey of the real estate business, operation of a broker's office, business law, construction, subdivision development, leases, liens and easements, taxes, investments, alienation, management, condominiums and cooperatives, appraisal, advertising and rent control. This course together with the completion of BA 221 (Formerly BA 657) qualifies the student to take the real estate brokers exam. S (S)
