Hours: 3 A study of ecological relationships to turfgrass morphology and physiology and how they affect the growth and quality of turfgrass in a golf course setting. Emphasis will be placed on the interaction of various maintenance practices, such as fertilization, irrigation, cultivation, and etc. with the turfgrass environment. This will be combined with techniques for altering maintenance practices and the microenvironment to obtain optimum playing conditions. Components: Lecture Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
