This is a field placement course for students whose concentration is social work in the Sociology/Social Work curriculum. The student who enrolls in this class must have completed all General College requirements, as well as departmental SW requirements through the first semester of their senior year per catalog. The student must submit an application for internship one semester in advance. This is a thirty-two (32) hours per week in placement. The total number of hours to be accumulated for the internship is 400 hours. The student must provide his/her own transportation and liability insurance (if required). Pre-requisite: Sociology/Social Work majors only.
