In addition to the study of the main themes and literary motifs, this course also investigates prominent aspects of 17th-century culture in Spain. It provides the basis for an understanding of the cultural and ideological changes in Spain during the 20th century. It includes historical, theoretical, literary, and filmic texts. Works by Lope de Vega, Pérez Galdós, Bu uel, Saura, Bardem, Berlanga, Mariscal,Bigas Luna, Almodóvar, and Pilar Miró will be studied.
