An introduction to the principles of injury prevention. Lecture and demonstration of emergency measures to treat, for example, fractures, sprains, dislocations, and spinal injuries. A study of the many psychological aspects pertaining to coaching competitive athletics, including motivation, player-coach relationships, team selection, team morale, and strategy.
