    This course focuses upon sketching, diagramming, rendering and perspective techniques in relationship to spatial problem solving. Students will complete studio-based projects, where critical thinking the design process are expressed in various traditional and digital mediums. All aspects of rendered space will be addressed including form, color, texture, pattern light and shadows. Work will be evaluated through peer group critiques and in formal graphic presentations. 8 lab.     This course is meant to complement HCIA 203. It will engage in readings and discussion using texts and digital media focused on historical models and contemporary practices of graphic presentation as related to space planning. Students will discuss and critique different models of graphic presentation, and will assemble a prototype portfolio as the culmination of their discussions and exercises. 2 lec.
