E E 495A: Electrical and Computer Engineering Capstone Design I

Prereq: 44 HOURS OF E E. The goal of this course is to give students the opportunity to refine and demonstrate their ability in engineering design. Students work on a major design project as part of a team with an emphasis on problem definition and specification. They will conduct a preliminary design review. In addition, students will study the systems approach to problem solving, engineering ethics, economic analysis, and the elements of scheduling and planning. 3 lec, 2 lab. May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
