Fieldwork experience is a component of the Mental Health Worker Certificate Program. Class meetings emphasize learning about working in the mental health field and developing associated skills. Students will be assigned a supervised experience in a contracted mental health placement setting. 1 hour lecture, 8 hours arranged. This course may be taken two times. Transfer Credit: CSU PREREQUISITE: Psychology A100, A125, A255, and A235 with a minimum grade of “C”. CPR Certification; and instructor consent. The course instructor must approve fieldwork placement settings.
