Newton’s laws of motion, dynamics of particles in a given force field. gravitation, conservation laws of energy, momentum, angular momentum, and the kinematics of rigid body rotation. Propagation of mechanical waves in different elastic medium, waves on the string, water waves, sound waves. PREREQUISITE: Math A180, and Math A185 or concurrent enrollment.
