In-depth study of selected research strategies commonly used in nursing, such as clinical case-study, experimental, quasi-experimental, historical, ethnographic, ex-post-facto, and survey methods. Identification and clarification of nursing problem statements and related hypotheses. Roles and functions of the nursing thesis research committee. Development and analysis of individual thesis proposals. Lecture 4 units. Prerequisites: Successful completion of Graduate Writing Assessment Requirement.
