Music and Movement: Introduce the relationship of music and movement to the development of the young child. Analyzes methods and materials appropriate for integrating music and movement into the early childhood curriculum. Play: Introduce the importance of play in a young child's life. Examine how play increases the child's ability to learn. Different faculty members will teach each area of study during the course of the semester.
