Topics include C# syntax and coding conventions, graphical user interfaces, Microsoft's ASP.net web application framework, interaction of ASP.net with relational databases, caching, Microsoft's Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), problem analysis and C# software solution design, coding and testing. Introduction to Oracle database management system in a client/server environment. The course covers Structured Query Language (SQL) and Oracle development tools. Students are taught to create and maintain database objects and to store, retrieve and manipulate data, and create blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports and data management applications.
