Issues explored will include the relationship between gender roles and biology, the family and society; the psychology of gender identity and its development; gender roles at work; and gender role stereotyping. These intensive courses are intended for students who are interested in seeking publication for original research projects or who plan to pursue graduate training in psychology. An Honors Thesis will be required at the completion of PSY 495, along with a successful defense of the thesis.
