Topics in this course include time management, test taking, note taking, communication skills, study techniques, library use, and other issues that are current and important to university students. The course also introduces students to the mission, purpose, nature, and programs of Mid- Continent University. There is also discussion of special curriculum/instructional initiatives at Mid-Continent University, such as writing across the curriculum, the integration of a Christian worldview, and travel study.
