BOFT 254: Offi ce Technology and Procedures

(4 Credits) Prerequisites: BOFT 131, BOFT 252, and BAD 201 (Students may be concurrently enrolled in BAD 201, BOFT 252, and BOFT 254 with the consent of the instructor.) Specifi c skills and techniques used in modern business offi ces are presented. Students integrate and perform tasks and exercise problemsolving skills in a simulated offi ce environment utilizing the latest soft ware, Internet, and e-mail. Th is is a capstone course that should be taken toward the end of a student's degree program. Course is usually off ered during the spring semester only. Th e Offi ce Profi ciency Assessment Certifi cation test (OPAC) is administered and a testing fee is required.
