This course further expands the student's knowledge of medical terminology that applies to the court reporting field. This course will provide practice dictation and medical, legal, and current events terminologies and recording testimony. The student will apply medical terminology including prefixes, suffixes, and roots of medical words commonly found in depositions and court transcripts. Upon completion of the course the student can take dictation for five-minutes at the appropriate speed level and transcribe with 95 percent accuracy or better.
