Participants will have opportunities to discuss issues relating to various motor development theories and to the different influences affecting an individual's motor development. Participants will have opportunities to observe and analyze fundamental motor patterns as they are performed in various settings. Emphasis is placed on the identification of components of correct form, the detection of incorrect form, and the appropriate use of skill cues to prompt participants toward correct form.
