This is a Local Need Course. This course will stress high voltage cables including testing, safety, insulation and fault location. Also included will be the study of basic air conditioning systems operation, wiring, and trouble shooting. In addition, the National Electrical Code will be studied including calculations for electrical branch circuits, and motors. It will also include the study of transformers relative to their operation, diagrams, calculations, and connections. (3 Lec. 3 Lab.)
