is concerned with the psychology of the person. It provides for the study of the goals, methods, and procedures of a variety of theoretical viewpoints basic to counseling. In addition to the acquisition of skills necessary for counseling, the course allows for personal growth and understanding. The goal of the course is to provide students with an exposure to various schools of thought so that a synthesis can be made to allow for beginning functioning in the counseling role. Prerequisite: PSYC 111.
