This class will involve problem-solving regarding management issues and the ability to effectively communicate their findings to management. The problem solving will be a combination of exercises, problems and short business cases that require critical thinking to solve each issue. After all options are analyzed, the student will be required to explain the issue, identify each option, explain which is the best option and use research findings to support the decision. The course will incorporate the Financial Accounting Research System (FARS) software.
