ART 359: Advanced Studio Art
2.00 Credits
Concordia University-Ann Arbor
It is hoped that art majors will find a great deal of inspiration for their future artistic development from the semester in London. A structured approach will be used but students will have plenty of opportunity to explore their own creativity. Students will be expected to keep a journal/portfolio of drawings, photographs, digitally generated images and written ideas in the form of a dialogue with self on their creative process. They will also be expected to visit as many London art galleries as possible to find inspiration in the first-hand study of art masters. Independent work on projects and the ability to explain their ideas in the supportive environment of group critiques will be expected. At the end of the semester there will be an oral presentation and final show. (Study Abroad - London Centre)
