Includes introduction to Law Enforcement, Law and legal matters, patrol procedures, traffic control, and police proficiency skills. Prerequisites: Student must comply with AzPOST employment standards for peace officers.

Preparation for State of Arizona armed security guard certification. Includes criminal laws, legal authority, communication and emergency response procedures. Prerequisites: None.

Preparation for State of Arizona armed security guard certification. Includes firearm safety, firearm nomenclature, legal aspects of firearm usage, basic marksmanship, and live fire qualification. Prerequisites: None.

A continuation of the basic, entry-level training program leading to full authority peace officer certification as required by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board I (AzPOST). Subjects to include: Patrol Procedure, Accident Investigation, Records and Report Writing, Community Relations, Criminal Investigations, and Officer Survival. Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or better in AJS/LEO102 or AzPost Limited Authority Peace Officer certification.

Proper manipulation, marksmanship, and tactical deployment of closed bolt type submachine gun. Focus on weapon's use in law enforcement situations including critical incident perimeter security, methodical "stealth" building searches, and crisis entry (raids). Prerequisites: Certified law enforcement personnel.

Designed for criminal justice trainers. The adult learner, developing a course, characteristics of effective instruction, evaluation methods. Prerequisites: None.

A course on how information is used to analyze crimes and crime trends, current methods of intelligence collection and information organization, and information distribution. Includes analysis charting, link analysis, and computer software applications commonly used in crime analysis. Prerequisites: Employee of a law enforcement agency.

A "train the trainer" course for police firearm instructors. Covers instructional techniques for the pistol, revolver, and shotgun. Prerequisites: AzPost (Peace Officer Standard and Training) Certified Police General Instructor or permission of Department or Division.
