Class instruction will heighten early awareness of conventions, requirements and expectations that are associated with teaching to better help themselves for the community in which they will serve. Course content provides theoretical and practical training in the area of oral address and is designed to enhance the skills used in speaking through observations, practice and insightful criticism. Twenty hours of field experience in a school setting will be required.
