Under supervision, the student is given increased responsibility for performing speech and language assessments, hearing screenings and treatment of children and adults in a medical setting. Students relate to other medical and clinical personnel and counsel professionals and families about communication disorders. Prerequisites: Completion of at least two semesters (including summer) of approved graduate coursework and clinical practicum; and approval of faculty.
