Allows students to gain hands-on experience that will help to bridge the gap between the theory of academia and the practicality of the work world. Specific arrangements must be made in advance to identify the academic component of the internship and the grading criteria. Planning will involve the internship agency, the student's academic adviser and the associate dean of the college. Prerequisites: sophomore standing and the approval of the adviser, head of the major department and an associate dean of A&S. (Offered both semesters)
