Topics include language acquisition, production, comprehension, bilingualism, human vs. computer speech perception, reading and dyslexia, human language vs. animal communication, aphasia and other language impairments, and the relationship between language and thought. Although the main approach is psychological, we will also consider contributions from computer science, linguistics, and neurobiology.
