This course explores the concepts and the formal characteristics of Modern Art chronologically - looking at all the "-isms" ofthe 20th century and the early 21st and looking for relationships between them. Short sections on the history of architecture and modern design of the various periods also will be covered and compared for their stylistic connection to the "fine arts" of thesame periods. Lab fee.
