From this foundation the student learns about the infrastructure of the industry as it exists today. We explore the intricate relationship between state government and local government and non-governmental agencies and associations. This course gives the student the opportunity to learn through hands-on research and direct interaction with industry professionals. The student is also expected to volunteer in a local or state tourism business for at least 50 hours during the semester. (Spring semester)
